YOUTH
My youth work career spans two decades with many years of youth centre and community development work with young people both in local government settings, as well as many years in youth accommodation. I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to your next project, event, YAC or youth plan.
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
I have spent the past decade working in Fremantle creating many lasting events and projects. I was the integral project manager of the Esplanade Youth Plaza planning to activation, many urban art projects, an 8 year running art exhibition and more group programs and partnerships.Â
I am able to work with diverse community groups, always bringing a high attention to detail, creative flare and
an ability to think outside the box.
EVENTS & PROJECTS
Changing Your Tune was a collaboration with the City of Fremantle, Headspace Fremantle Youth Reference Group, YACWA and the Music Feedback CD to promote mental health awareness. This event took place in October 2015. I have planned many sizeable youth events, urban art murals and exhibitions. So if you need some assistance getting a project off the ground, with immense risk planning and delivery experience, please get in touch.
BUILDING SKATE PARKS
There's a lot to learn about skate parks. My role as the Project Manager of the Fremantle Esplanade Youth Plaza and the ongoing person involved in activating the space has been an amazing experience. Are you planning a new project or improving an existing one? There's a lot an LGA can do to improving the space for all users, creating a family friendly place to attend or providing an understanding of skate park etiquette.
